Makenzie is 4 !!!!!

Four years ago today at 1:57pm our precious little Makenzie was born, weighing in at 7lbs 5oz 19 3/4" long with a head full of black hair. That past 4 years she have filled our lives with such joy and we are looking foward to many many more. Makenzie has an energy about her that just amazes us. She loves to sing, dance and just be silly. There are times we just sit back and watch her and laugh.
* Loves to ride her scooter and take walks around the neighborhood.
* Loves anything to do with coloring/drawing.
* Loves to play pirates with Owen and pulling out the nerf guns and chasing
eachother all over the house.
* Talks to everyone she meets and I mean everyone. There is not a bashful
bone in her little body.
* Enjoys watching Strawberry Shortcake, Dora, Ninja Turtles, Spiderman, Max & Ruby,
as well as many others.
* She loves to eat(not sure where she puts it) but is not a fan of dinner, never has
been.

Easter 2009

Egg hunt #1

Saturday our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt/spring fling. John and Owen weren't able to be there because Owen had a soccer game and John is coaching. We are having an egg hunt at our church this Saturday that Owen will be attending so he will be included in the next batch of pictures. Makenzie had a blast. After finding only about 4 or 5 eggs she spotted a pinwheel and forgot all about the egg hunt.

Rylan's 10th Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated Rylan's 10th birthday. He has his party at Laser Tag in Archdale. They also had an arcade with games which they all loved. I had to drag my children out of there. As you play games you get tickets which you can purchase "junk" with. Those things that your children get, play with for a day or two and then forget about. Those things manage to disappear in our house, into the trash. We all had a great time and Rylan had a wonderful birthday.

Brotherly Love

There is a special love between Owen and Ben, maybe because they are brothers, I don't know but it warms my heart to watch them interact & play. I got some really sweet pictures of them displaying this love the other day. Enjoy!

Snow Day

We finally got a pretty good snow and the kids had a great time playing in it.

Playhouse Disney Live

We took Owen and Makenzie to see Playhouse Disney Live at the coliseum tonight. We saw Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. It was alot of fun. I think John even enjoyed it a little. :)
