Future soccer player

John has played soccer pratically his entire life and still plays for an adult league. The oldest player in the guiness book of world records is 89 I think and John is determined to beat that record. Owen started playing in the spring and of course John is coaching. So needless to say soccer is pretty big in our household. Benjamin doesn't have a choice but to follow in their footsteps. Above is his very first soccer picture. Looks like a natural. :)

Writer's Celebration

Owen is in the 1st grade this year and his class does something called Writer's Workshop for 30 minutes every day. They create and write stories along with illustrations and we get to see it first hand once a month at The Writer's Celebration. Today was the first day doing this and Owen just beamed when he saw me there. Of course he had to play it cool in front of his friends and would wave really low where nobody could see him doing it. :) He hand picked a story out of his folder and read it to me and talked to me some about what writer's workshop is and what they do.

Happy Birthday John

Happy Birthday babe. Its John's 33rd birthday today(9/30). He is such a wonderful husband and father and we are so proud of him.

Owen is playing soccer for a local league and John is the coach. They have a great team and are some really good players. John has played soccer since he was little and still plays for an adult team so he is really enjoying watching his son play.
