Speech Graduation

Today was a happy and a sad day. Last August Benjamin(2 1/2 yrs) was barely speaking 5 words so he started speech therapy at the Moses Cone Pediatric Rehab Center. Today Ben is talking up a storm and has met all of his goals so he graduated. We are so proud of Ben and all of his hard work but are also sad to not see Ms Janet every week. He has grown to love her and always looked forward to going to "play" with her. He was so comfortable with her and did such a great job. So Janet, if you are reading this know that we love you and will miss you terribly. Benjamin...AWESOME work, we are soooo proud of you.

More Strawberries

We had so much fun picking strawberries last week that we decided to do it again.

Strawberry Picking

Ben and I took a field trip this morning, just the 2 of us. We went to the barber shop for a hair cut and then to Hedgecock Farm to pick strawberries. He had a great time picking strawberries. Once the bucket was about 80% full he decided to try one and then refused to put any more in the bucket. After that he ate every one that he picked.

Mother's Day

I've been telling John forever that I really want a river birch. I think they are beautiful trees. Sooo, for Mother's Day I got one from him and the kids. They all pitched in and planted it in our back yard. I love it!!!!
